Information:
Since the days of the Phatty, O’Brien has been making wide boards better than anyone, and the Vice continues that reality – better than ever for 08 with the addition of the DELTA base. Often referred to as the designated wake hitter of the O’Brien line, Josh Sanders’ Vice has the width and progressive rocker line for huge air and a large center spine to make landings buttery soft. The DELTA base makes it faster for 08 so you can ride longer, go bigger, and sign autographs later.

Features:
Progressive rocker – 3 stage pop, with continuous predictability.
DELTA base – board rides higher and a lot faster.
Wide tip/tail/mid section – for explosive pop off the wake.
Molded-in fins – for outstanding tracking and stability.
Double concave hull – helps soften landings.
Vented channels – helps prolong the life of the deck.
Crook fins – gives the deck a stronger edge hold when used.

An unreal board with stability and grace in the air. The face is inevitably fade over time however with no gloss cote but still recommended.

A three season veteran to this board, I have to say that I love this years iteration even more. At first I rode with the additional design of the crook fins but for the past two years I have been riding without them. It has all of the qualities I look for in a board and will track, pop and land oh so smooth with an effortless and almost extension of the body feel.

This board has great pop off the wake with a solid wide feel.

It does not handle well in rough water because of its shorter fins but you can feel the side fins dig in when tracking.

Once I got the hang of this board I definitely took my skills to the next level with some serious air, a highly recommended wakeboard.
