2007 ValhallaThe Valhalla Obrien Wakeboards

Glassy conditions, stomping the biggest of double ups, tech tricks, huge carves, and even those rough days of choppy water. The Valhalla has proven to be a powerhouse in the O’Brien line and will be for quite some time. It’s already become a favorite of many team riders and the deck of choice for the rider wanting to push the limits this summer. The Valhalla has a variable beveled edge which is soft in the mid-section for a skate feel when flat, and smooth ride in rough conditions. The deck is equipped with a progressive 3-stage rocker. What does that mean you ask? That means this deck carries speed like a continuous rocker board, but pops like any other 3-stage board. Just for added kick off the wake we widened the tip and tail profile. The concave hull displaces water upon impact for softer landings, so you are already covered on all those huge airs you’ll be hooking up on.

PROGRESSIVE ROCKER– Very fast ride like a continuous rocker board,
and the pop of a 3-Stage.
CROOK FINS– Gives the board stronger edge hold (like a cupped rail) and helps
board track straight.
MOLDED FINS– Outstanding tracking and stability with minimal lift or drag.
DOUBLE CONCAVE HULL– Softens landings and saves knees and backs.
WIDE TIP/TAIL– Pops the board off the wake with increased surface area.
BEVELED EDGES– Helps prolong the life of the board.

A truly amazing ride, the design of the outside fins really makes a difference in carving and just overall control. Solid design and great feel.

The Valhalla is a solid and consistent wakeboard. It is a 3-stage wakeboard but rides fast through the water and the setup of the fins allows it to track like a knife through butter even in choppy conditions. I was able to get some insane pop compared to other wakeboards I had ridden and the concave bottom and wider shape made for some smooth landings out in the flats.
