Information:
If you’re a fan of wakeskating, you know we’ve spent more time perfecting this design than pretty much any other product we’ve ever built. When it was first released mid summer, 2007, it quickly became the most talked about skate in the market… true skaters finally had what they’d been looking for in a skate. Created by Silas Thurman and our design team, this deck incorporates several firsts. It’s the first dual level deck to utilize a compression molded top and a wood bottom. This was done to ensure durability, as well as the skate feel. Most importantly, this deck has serious spring in its pop! The design has been ridden hard by Silas, Aaron Reed, and several of our skaters. They’ve all come back to us stoked… Aaron likes the way the board pops to his feet when he’s doing 3 Shuvs across the wake and Silas is stoked with the ability to simply snap ollies and tech tricks more explosively. If you’re ready for the next generation of wakeskates that is engineered to take your riding to the next level, the SST is it.

Features:
Compression Molded SST Concave Top Deck
-Shaped with plenty of kick and concave to lock your feet in an aggressive ollie position as well as provide increased heel and toe response

SST Split level tails
-Provides more snap out of ollies than a traditional concave, as well as more spring off the wake when you’re slaishing.

Featuring the Aaron Reed asymmetrical wood bottom deck Shape
-Wider and more squared off in the nose. The board tracks better, releases from the water quicker, and is more stable underfoot.

9-Ply Maple Base Deck
-Stiff, responsive, and full of life. Poppin’ fresh.

Variable Edge
-More forgiving and round at the center, sharper at the tail.

Aggressive 3 Stage Rocker
-Serious Snap!

Marine Grade Grip Tape
-The true skateboard feel.

Back in spring 2006, Aaron Reed put some pressure on our design department to create a wakeskate shape that worked for himself, as well as his friend Mr. Hampson. With his midseason release in 2006, a board was created that met his demands. We built a board that popped and tracked good enough for Aaron to land his backside big-spins wake to wake, as well as 3 shuvs across the wake. Danny was more stylish than ever as he slashed across the world’s wakes. For 2008, the shape has remained consistent to what these guys and skaters around the world loved… true skate feel! If you’re a fan of Danny Hampson’s smooth style we’ve got the 40 and 41 models. If you’re a fan of how big Aaron goes, the 42 is the one for you. Either way, we’ve got a board for you… get ready for more pop than you’ll know what to do with!
