2009 Valhalla WakeboardsThe Valhalla continues to be a popular choice of our pro riders and for good reason. The progressive rocker line keeps the pop predictable, the full rail through the midsection keeps the board loose & floaty when flat, and the tapered tip & tail provide the edge bite you need when carving. This year we added a 127cm board to the line so the groms can rip with the Valhalla. Shape by Chris Johnson.

Many have called the Vallhalla one of the greatest shapes ever produced, and is a favorite among the O’Brien team. With this year’s retro 80’s graphic and the Valhalla’s proven performance, be prepared to have one rad day on the water.

The Valhalla has proven to be a powerhouse in the O’Brien line and will be for quite some time. It’s already become a favorite of many team riders and the deck of choice for the rider wanting to push the limits this summer. The Valhalla has a variable beveled edge which is soft in the mid-section for a skate feel when flat, and smooth ride in rough conditions. The deck is equipped with a progressive 3-stage rocker. What does that mean you ask? That means this deck carries speed like a continuous rocker board, but pops like any other 3-stage board. Just for added kick off the wake we widened the tip and tail profile. The concave hull displaces water upon impact for softer landings, so you are already covered on all those huge airs you’ll be hooking up on. (more…)
