Womens Legend Gator Wakeboards

The Randall Harris Legend series ‘08! “The Vandall has always said make it Simple but very Effective”. With this being said some key functional points are the true angle molded fins and a bigger more flat center area, with more length, more width in the tips, and slightly more streamlined beveled edges. The continuous rocker creates a fast and effortless ride, allowing the rider to focus on more important things like legit riding. We also went with 2.7 inches of rocker to ensure a smooth ride up the wake at any speed…even Vandall’s (28mph). The outcome: Bigger, Faster, smoother, with a lot more pop. Another feature is an elliptical base bevel great for refined control while edging and all around tougher board. After you pick up one of the Legends all your friends are going to want one. (more…)

2008 Legend Wakeboards

2008 Gator Wakeboards

Information:
The highest end wakeboard ever made! This new Gator wakeboard has it all. With features and systems never before seen on a wakeboard. The ATCS(Adjustable Track Control System ) showcases movable eight inch laser etched anodized aluminum fins that can be set up just how you like. If you want, set them up individually, different for heelside or toeside edge cuts. The Air Cell Core (or ACC) is made up of a top-secret ultra light weight machined pvc giving this board unbelievable lightness. The strength of board is derived from a carbon fiber infinite wrap. The carbon makes this board light and strong while the infinite wrap system makes for a stronger edge that can endure seasons of abuse. Along with all the above we gave the Gator an aggressive three stage rocker with massive pop and a variable edge for clean controlled edging. We’re not done yet. This board also features a chiseled edge bevel at the belly of the board for softer turn initiation. This edge leads up into the Variable shaped rail, which gets sharper towards tip and tail for faster aggressive edging and take offs. Satisfied yet, you wont be till you have this board strapped to your feet.

2008 Gonzalez Wakeboards

The new Ricky shape is out. Keeping all the great elements, we made subtle change’s to this shape that have resulted in a more potent ride. This board still features straight track molded fins, 4 degree ellepitical base bevel, and a full length center channel that made this board so popular to date. Then, we upped the ante with newly designed variable shaped rails giving the Ricky G. refined edge setting ability. And to give this board more lift and pop off the wake we gave an overall wider center, and wider tip and tail.

RIDER QUOTE: The Ricky G 2008 signature boards are going to be one of the best boards you have ever ridden. I have made a few really good changes that will improve the boards riding from the last few years. I didn’t need to do much, but change the width, the sizes and a few things on the bottom. So the board will have an increased lift off the wake and softer landings. It will still be “What it’s known for” as the best board for all around riders, and all levels of riding from beginners to advanced skills. Ricky G 2008 signature graphics have a really good story behind them. My tattoo artist Kaib Knight puts a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into making all of my graphics from 2004 and on to the latest. Prospect Gator Wakeboards

Information:
New to Gator this year is the PROSPECT. The Prospect was designed to be one of our most technical boards to date. The boards attributes were designed by team rider Kyle Rattray AKA pro wakeboard tour driver #2 . Starting from the bottom up, this board has three base channels that flow from tip to tail and flatten out in the center of the board for better rail surface control. The center channel leading towards the tip or tail creates a fin like flute for more hold on landings. The cupped contourd fins and outer center channels create a better hold into the wake. The rail has a base bevel and an edge bevel in the center giving the rails a round like feel at the mid-section that leads to a sharper cupped rail towards the tip or tail. This will give you more control over your speed leading into the wake. The variable edge bevel also gives you a looser feel as you adjust your weight forward, but has more bite as you lean back and set your edge.

RIDER QUOTE: “Kyle said I love the abrupt continuous rocker line of the Prospect! The board rides real fast into the wake like a traditional continuous board, but consistently explodes off the top of the wake like a three stage board. I also love the sharp rails on the board, it allows you to sink your edge deep into the water and hold a hard edge all the way into the wake without the board slipping out. Caddy Gator Wakeboards

The Caddy has been the staple of the Gator boards line for years and its back again, redesigned, and greater than ever. With two sizes and impressive graphics our caddy is still turning heads. For 2008 we used an all-new synthetic suede material and an authentic caddy inspired gator badge giving it that old school feel. For this new shape we re-engineered the construction by maximizing the fiberglass for optimal strength-to-weight ratio that does not sacrifice durability, stiffness or response. The thin, but ribbed, tip and tail have a longitudinal snap for a livening pop off the wake. Cupped full-length center channels give this board more control, softer landings and make it more forgiving in rough water. Much like a surfboard the true angle molded fins angle towards the center of the board giving it much more wake entrance control.
